It does seem that the least little build up acts as a heat insulator which does not cause the pellets in the pot to get hot enough to fire up. That has helped but sometimes the stove still will not light. I'll unplug it, remove all the pellets from the pot and start over and usually that will do it.

The power light stays on but all other lights turn off and nothing happens. If I start it in stove temp mode get it going and switch to the room temp mode it stays on and seems to works fine. However if the stove shuts off completely because it reaches room temp or because the room probe is disconnected it won't restart even in the auto mode.Check the cover on the fines box....it can cause a lot of problems if its not on quite right and doesn't seal. Check the gasket on the hopper lid. A crushed pellet will leave a divot in the gasket and cause a leak. Mine looked fine, but just started leaking on the hinge side.
