The new Lightning conduit skill looks very exciting and I wanted to make a build using it. My first thought was a Shock Nova / Lightning Conduit Inquis, but with the changes to Voltaxic rift allowing for Shocks upwards of 105% I wanted to see if it could work. Now I am not a PoB expert so I was hoping to get some help on the Math side of things.While Lightning Conduit is an AoE spell, considering how it works, there is room for doubt whether area damage boosts like Concentrated Effect and Intensify work on it. Basically, since it only affects shocked enemies in the AoE, it's arguable that it deals "point strike" damage like Orb of Storms, which is also not affected by area damage ...I immediately thought of two options: Golems are getting a big buff this league so Elementalist with Shaper of Storms => Let the golems smack things to shock => Use this for support damage. Also, Lightning Arrow + the Revised Voltaxic Rift Bow => Cast on Crit Lightning Conduit. As an Elementalist they can be used in very similar setups. Need 1) chains from lightning mastery and chain support, 2) some source of proliferation either eldritch gloves, support or mastery, and 3) unbound ailments if you need it to reach max shock effect.
