If i give it throttle very slowly, it will rev up and run good, but will not run with fast advance of throttle from idle. Been through carb several times and even put different carb on it. Either way the carb needs to be disassembled and inspected. I purchase a 1999 Kawasaki KVF400 Prairie most of it is in good condition. The main problem that I am having is with the reverse. When I start the ATV I can engage the reverse first (R-light comes on) give it the gas but will not move. Start ATV engage forward first works fine, go to nutral fine, now it will not even engage to reverse.I Have a 1997 Kawasaki Prairie 400 4x4.
