Basically, you bait the backstab attempt with the 1HR2, but then follow it up by aiming your follow up R2 at your opponent. I have hit countless people who've tried to backstab me with this strategy. There isn’t a “best” ultra-greatsword but a couple personal favourites are the generic greatsword as it’s simply really powerful and it has great 1H R1’s, the Smelter Sword because of its massive F-off heavy attacks and the Fume Ultra Greatsword for looking badass as hell and having a great Moveset and good range. 5.The King's ultra greatsword is rediculous! Fume UGS has higher damage and breaks the poise of enemies more easily but Greatsword has a better moveset IMO.
